The Therapeutic Value of Art;
Art is a perfect way for us to let off some steam, whether you're a beginner or established artist. In the busy world we live it, we don't always find the time to just 'switch off'. At Papercourt Studio, we have a variety of classes which allow you the time to be mindful and tap into your creative side.
We explore a range of themes and genres, with a focus on developing skills and techniques, but more importantly to combat stress. You will feel confident within your own artist journey and gain a better understanding of art and yourself.
At Papercourt Studio we use art to support children’s wellbeing and mental health.
Through creative expression, children can explore feelings, identity and relationships. Making art can help children grow in confidence and develop the social skills needed to engage in learning and thrive in life.
We have developed a series of creative video tutorials to use with children at home.
Our Activities offer creative projects that can help children and adults to nurture their relationship whilst having fun making art together.

Mindful Art' is a type of therapeutic technique rooted in the idea that creative expression can foster mental well-being. Art is also known as an expressive therapy, it can be used as a means of communication and allows people to express and explore their thoughts and emotions.
